Mercenaries army builder

Last updated:

Order of Battle

Mercenaries in Warhammer: The Old World are dogs of war, fighting for whoever pays them. In Order of Battle the Mercenaries catalogue covers these hired units. Many armies can add them under a Mercenaries allowance, which the builder caps at 20 percent of your points. They let you add something your own army lacks, such as extra ranged units, a war machine or tough infantry, without leaving your faction. Hired units often bring their own restrictions, and not every army can take every unit. Check your army list and the current FAQ before you rely on one. The Mercenaries page has no faction art and uses the site's default image. To use mercenaries, start a list for your main faction and add them from the Mercenaries category if your list allows them. This page summarises how the catalogue works in the app; the rules and points are in the books.
