Chaos Dwarfs army builder

The Chaos Dwarfs are fire-worshipping engineers who run a brutal empire of forges and slaves. This is a Legacy army: Games Workshop keeps its rules as a free download, but it isn't part of official matched play. Order of Battle builds the PDF list and a community Renegades list made by fans, not Games Workshop. On the table they pair tough dwarf infantry in heavy armour with hobgoblin slaves as cheap bodies, bull centaurs as fast hitters and some of the nastiest war machines in the game. Unlike their western cousins, their sorcerer-prophets cast magic and can wear heavy armour while doing it, though dark magic can corrupt them. Lists balance a few elite blocks, a screen of hobgoblins and artillery. The common mistake is spending so much on war machines that nothing is left to guard them once the enemy closes in.
