# Order of Battle > Order of Battle is a free unofficial army builder for Age of Sigmar 4th edition and Warhammer: The Old World. AoS lists are built by regiment — matched play or Path to Glory — then Play tracks wounds and phases. The Old World builder (beta) writes Grand Army lists with composition caps. You don't sign up; the lists live on the device. ## The app Order of Battle is a browser app for Warhammer Age of Sigmar 4th edition and Warhammer: The Old World. You can: 1. Build Age of Sigmar army lists by regiment: heroes, units, reinforcements, battle formations, lores, artefacts, heroic traits, and optional Regiments of Renown. Path to Glory campaign lists add battlepacks, paths, scars, Anvil of Apotheosis, and learned spells. 2. Build The Old World Grand Army lists (beta): Characters, Core, Special, Rare, Mercenaries, magic items, detachments, and formats (Open, Grand Melee, Combined Arms, Battle March). Switch games in the menu under The old world. 3. Open Play during the game: Age of Sigmar tracks wounds, lasting spells and prayers, and abilities grouped by phase. The Old World Play tracks wounds, magic, phase checklists, and victory points. It is free. There is no account. Lists sit in the browser on the player's device. They are not uploaded to Order of Battle servers. Not affiliated with Games Workshop. Catalogue data comes from the community BSData Age of Sigmar 4th edition project; Order of Battle doesn't write or maintain that data and isn't responsible for it, and lists stay on the user's device. Every image on the site is fan-made, not official Games Workshop artwork. Rules summaries are written in our own words; unit data comes from the community BSData project. Always check the official Games Workshop publications. ## When it fits Players who want a free Age of Sigmar or The Old World list builder without signing up, and who want that list next to them during the game.
